Poultry Meat Production

The Kingdom’s Efforts to Raise Self-Sufficiency in Poultry Meat Production

The Kingdom is keen to raise the self-sufficiency of poultry meat to 80% by 2025. This has resulted in the development of an expansion plan with investments amounting to 17 billion riyals. In continuation of the Kingdom’s efforts to achieve food security. The first phase of the expansion plan was announced, as the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, revealed an expansion plan for the broiler sector and support services. With the aim of raising the self-sufficiency rate of poultry meat to 80% by 2025 as a first stage to achieving food security.

Objectives of the expansion plan

  • Achieving a target production capacity of 1.3 million tons of broiler chickens annually.
  • Achieving national food security.
  • Increase contribution to local content.
  • Providing job opportunities.
  • Providing local products with high quality and reasonable prices.
  • Finding new investment opportunities
  • Facilitate the procedures for obtaining licenses.
  • Follow-up and technical support to increase the sector’s share.
  • Increasing the self-sufficiency rates of poultry meat.

Ways to achieve the goals of the expansion plan in the production of poultry meat

Injecting new investments into the poultry production sector in the Kingdom at a value of 17 billion riyals until 2025.

The financing of the Agricultural Development Fund for companies and institutions wishing to expand the poultry production industry amounts to about 70% of the investment cost when using modern technologies.

Continuous efforts to develop

The objectives of the expansion plan are directly consistent with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to support the private sector, increase its contribution to economic development, and raise its contribution to the gross domestic product.

The percentage of self-sufficiency in poultry meat increased from 45% in 2016 to 68% in 2022 AD.

As the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture seeks through its plans, programs, follow-up, and technical support; To raise the self-sufficiency rate of poultry meat to 80% to achieve food security.

Carewater efforts in improving poultry meat production

In Water Care, we provide magnetic water treatment technology because of its many advantages over several sectors, including poultry farming, which we list as follows:

  1. It has been scientifically proven that magnetized water increases bone formation in chickens and birds.
  2. Increasing the stromal mass from 5% to 7%.
  3. Egg quality increased by 10%.
  4. Improving the quality of meat while reducing the mortality rate.

Advantages of German Magnolith over other products

  1. The German government patents the unique design of the device.
  2. The materials used to install the device are natural and not manufactured.
  3. The magnetic strength of the device is ten times that of other devices.
  4. The device is installed on the connection from the outside, and water does not pass through it.
  5. Saline treatment up to 10,000 mg/L.
  6. It does not require a power source, maintenance, or spare parts.
  7. 100% environmentally friendly.

How to find out the results of the Magnolith device

  1. Physical analysis by electron microscopy and its cost is very high.
  2. Chemical analysis does not give results in the case of physical treatment
  3. In-kind observation through experience, so the institution gives two months to see the results on the ground. In addition to a five-year guarantee after knowing the results.
